In 1967 Marshall McLuhan aptly stated, “One of the effects of living with electric information is that we live habitually in a state of information overload. There's always more than you can cope with.”

Currently the speed and velocity that our digital information is assimilated, absorbed then scattered resulting in the partial eradication of the “self” into "personal" particles within the binary velocity field of zeros and ones; algorithms re-arranging, continuously dissecting and compiling. May I put forward, the obliteration of our true selves into the technological expansion and perversion of our consciousness into limitless bytes of noise, clatter, "social media" via the continuous onslaught of advertisements, apps, dating services, chats, religion, Facebook, instagram. tweets and on and on and on creating what I refer to as “techno zombies” - those in constant need to be plugged into not only our static and mobile devices but our binary "selves."

By observing our 21st century and its perpetual change in content velocity I arrived at “Jitter Fatigue”- the digital noise of our “modern” global society.
